# Bishop Museum Appoints Two Members to its Executive Team
Gregory Chang joins Bishop Museum as Chief Financial Officer and Raymond Kong returns as General Counsel.
Honolulu, Hawaiʻi — Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum has appointed two members to its executive team.
*Gregory Chang has joined Bishop Museum as Chief Financial Officer.* As CFO and Treasurer, Chang's responsibilities include setting policies and providing direction to ensure the Museum's long-term financial sustainability; maintaining financial oversight; and developing the Museum's short- and long-term strategies for financial performance.
Chang was previously with HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in the state, where he held multiple roles including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. He is an alumnus of the University of California at Berkeley where he majored in accounting and finance, graduating with a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration.
Chang is the proud father of two and is a volunteer coach for the Hoops for Christ Basketball Club.
"Bishop Museum has always been a favorite destination for my family, and we especially enjoy exploring historic Hawaiian Hall," said Chang. "It's a privilege to join the Bishop Museum ʻOhana and do my part to support the Museum's very important mission."
*Raymond Kong returns to Bishop Museum as Vice President and General Counsel.* Kong oversees the Museum's Legal and Human Resources departments, and is the primary Museum contact for the Waipiʻo Valley Farmers who lease the Museum's property on Hawaiʻi Island.
Kong was previously with the Museum from 2017-2021, and also worked as an attorney and General Counsel for legal and contractor firms in San Francisco. He is a proud graduate of Kamehameha Schools, Brown University, and the University of California College of Law, San Francisco.
Kong spends time coaching his son's soccer team, and is a member of the Kalihi YMCA Board of Directors.
"I'm honored to return to Bishop Museum and our extended Museum family," said Kong. "My priority is to ensure the continued well-being and care for our incredible staff, and provide opportunities for their career growth at the Museum in continuing to fulfill Pauahi's vision."

"Together with Janet Bullard, vice president of advancement and marketing communications, and acting director of government relations, and Brandon Bunag, vice president of public programs and interim director of education, Bishop Museum has the core leadership in place to continue serving the public as the Hawaiʻi State Museum of Natural and Cultural History."
