The exhibit's full-body interactive displays invite visitors to immerse themselves in the technology and wonders of light, emphasizing the importance of play as a means to learning.
Honolulu, Hawaiʻi — Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum invites media to an exclusive pre-opening, closed-door preview of its new exhibit, Playing With Light, in the Castle Memorial Building this Thursday, Oct. 5.
Picture walking through a tunnel, illuminated by 20,000 individual LED lights. Now imagine being able to manipulate those lights to follow your every movement! Keiki and ʻohana will also be able to see their shadows come to life with computer vision technology, and be challenged to dodge lasers as they try to get to their next destination.
